Vojvodina Novi Sad contributed the most: 5.5 of 11.5 points, 48% of everything Serbia earned in 2016/17. Next came Red Star Belgrade (3) and Cukaricki Belgrade (2). Clubs by their main competition that season: 4 in the Europa League. Compared with 2015/16 (4.25), Serbia had a coefficient 1.375 lower and dropped from 24th to 26th place in the season ranking. Since 2004/05 it ranks 16th of 22 seasons; the country's best was 2021/22 (9.5).
