Clubs by their main competition that season: 4 in the Champions League, 3 in the Europa League. Compared with 2011/12 (20.857), Spain had a coefficient 3.143 lower and dropped from 1st to 2nd place in the season ranking. Since 2004/05 it ranks 16th of 22 seasons; the country's best was 2015/16 (23.928).
