Benfica contributed the most: 17.5 of 48.5 points, 36% of everything Portugal earned in 2006/07. Next came FC Porto (13) and Sporting Braga (10). Clubs by their main competition that season: 2 in the Champions League, 4 in the UEFA Cup. Compared with 2005/06 (5.5), Portugal had a coefficient 2.583 higher and climbed from 13th to 8th place in the season ranking.
