Sporting CP Lisbon contributed the most: 17 of 55.5 points, 31% of everything Portugal earned in 2007/08. Next came FC Porto (14) and Benfica (13). Clubs by their main competition that season: 1 in the Champions League, 6 in the UEFA Cup. Compared with 2006/07 (8.083), Portugal had a coefficient 0.155 lower and stayed 8th in the season ranking. Since 2004/05 it ranks 20th of 22 seasons; the country's best was 2025/26 (20.5).
